2 Day Victorian Desert Adventure July 16 - 18

On our 2 Day Victorian Desert Ride we'll be starting in the town of Rainbow, 4 and a bit hrs north west of Melbourne. We'll ride to Mildura, stay the night there and and return to Rainbow the following day. This ride is for intermediate to experienced riders. This 2 day ride takes in the Big Desert and Murray - Sunset National parks. The riding is all deep sand. It's the best sand and desert riding in Victoria by far. We ride a variety of tracks from wide, fast, deep, sand tracks to tighter sandy tracks that wind through the mallee scrub to some gravel roads that connect it all together. Both days are big kms and require a moderate level of bike fitness. No sand riding experience needed however it would be beneficial.

The ride is scheduled for the Sunday/Monday July 17, 18. On the Saturday afternoon, July 16, support riders Chris and Myles will run a short introduction to sand riding for those who haven't ridden sand before. This ride requires 200km fuel range. If you are running a standard tank you could look at carrying a fuel bladder for extra range.
